Shipping policy

Processing & Roast Dates

All coffee at Experimental is roasted in small batches.

Orders are packed and shipped within 2–4 business days and all coffees will be labeled with the roast date.

Where We Ship

We currently ship within the United States only and from our location in Chicago, IL. At this time, we do not offer international shipping.

Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on weight, destination, and carrier. We ship primarily via USPS.

Domestic Delivery Times

Standard delivery usually arrives in 3–6 business days after dispatch. Faster options may be available at checkout depending on your location.

Order Tracking

A tracking number is emailed to you as soon as your order ships. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking activity to appear.

Shipping Issues

Experimental is not responsible for:

• Packages marked “delivered” by the carrier
• Delays caused by the carrier
• Incorrect or incomplete addresses entered at checkout

If a package shows no movement for 10+ days, contact us and we will assist with a carrier claim. We are proactive about this and may contact you in advance.

Address Changes

We can update your address before your roast date and before a shipping label is created. Once a label is printed, we cannot modify or reroute the shipment.

Returns & Exchanges

Because coffee is perishable, we do not accept returns on roasted coffee. If something is wrong with your order, reach out. We’ll fix it.
